Thanks for the welcome Laifot Right now I am watching Frieren again and going slow with it It still feels warm and sad in a good way Naruto is a fun pick too and the early arcs hold up well I may try Dragon Ball again soon for the simple jokes and fights

I get what you mean. A dark twist can work well but not when every new show does the same trick. I miss the warm feel of the old shows where the team just helped people. A mix would be nice

Hi all I am doing well. I have been watching anime again after a break and it feels good to be back in a small forum like this. Hope everyone is having a calm week and finds time for a good show

I agree for Higurashi the visual novel feels closer. You get more time in the town and more of what each person thinks. The anime has to move fast so some slow tense parts get cut. I still like the anime for the sound and the scary scenes but the novel wins for story
